I'm originally from Texas, and for as long as I can remember I've looked for the good in people through questions.
Whether it’s through interviews or meeting someone for coffee, I want others to feel valued and heard when they’re speaking to me.
First Job
I’ve spent the last eight years in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Following my collegiate basketball career at Loyola University New Orleans, I was recruited to work for the New Orleans Saints & the New Orleans Pelicans, the city’s professional football and basketball teams.
I rose from an entry level position to becoming the team reporter; ultimately the organization decided to build a position around my unique skill set.

My playlist is the most intimate thing I can share with you. Only 4% of the population is tone deaf, and I believe I’m in that 4%, despite being in my church choir as a child. But that doesn’t stop me from popping in my headphones and singing at the top of my lungs at Audubon Park, Lady Bird Lake, or wherever my feet take me that day.
